Silence Bike Tour

Silence Bike Tour

More than 50 kilometers, four valleys, a century-old fort, and the spectacular Alps all around you!
This—and much more—is the Silence Bike Tour, the first MACA® route dedicated to cyclists, strongly supported by the Municipality of Malborghetto-Valbruna, in collaboration with the Municipality of Dogna.

An exciting and challenging tour, designed for trained cyclists (E-bikes are recommended for those who prefer a more accessible experience), which crosses breathtaking landscapes and places rich in history.

In 13 stages, accompanied by a modern audio guide activated via QR code, you can discover stories, curiosities, and testimonies of the Great War, following the tracks of the ancient front lines and battlefields.

The route starts near the “Alla Vecchia Stazione” in Ugovizza, crosses a section of the famous Alpe Adria Cycle Route, reaches the village of Dogna, and climbs up the picturesque Val Dogna to Sella Somdogna, one of the most scenic points of the entire itinerary, before arriving at the Fratelli Grego mountain hut. From there, it descends into the splendid Val Saisera, surrounded by the majestic peaks of the Julian Alps, before returning to the starting point.

A true immersion in nature, history, and alpine silence, to be experienced on your bike.
