Between the silent forests of Valbruna and the high peaks of the Julian Alps, a path illuminated by the soft light of lanterns will envelop you in the magical Christmas atmosphere of Valcanale. A walk enriched by wooden works, lovingly carved by local artists, that tell stories of tradition and beauty.
Along the way, a stop with old stoves invites you to slow down and enjoy the warmth of a steaming tea, handmade cribs decorate hidden corners, and the small stable full of tender animals arouses sweet emotions. In the ancient stavoli, legends and fairy tales are told, entertaining the little ones, while the sound of traditional melodies wafts around the fire.
This path takes you back in time, to the Christmas of yesteryear, when Advent was a time of sweet and precious anticipation. Walking on the snow crunching under your feet and breathing in the crisp air gently stinging your face will make you feel in tune with the nature around you, giving you moments of peace and silence.
And so, step by step, you will return to relive that childhood magic, letting yourself be lulled by the wonder of a time that seems suspended, in the enchantment of Advent preparing for Christmas.

Afternoons immersed in the winter atmosphere of the Kinderalm alpine hut in Valbruna!
FROM 27 DECEMBER TO 4 JANUARY the Kinderalm will be open every day FROM 4 p.m. TO 7 p.m.
You will find three small huts full of handicrafts, animals to watch, wooden works, games for the little ones and a little kiosk for the older ones.
(On 31 December and 1 January the Kinderalm will be closed)
